Setting up your Toniebox

It's so simple!

Step-by-step instructions

Set-up takes about five minutes. If you have any problems, you’ll find detailed instructions on the Tonies website.

Please make sure you have the latest version of the Tonies app installed on your mobile device and that it is up to date.

Preparation

Downloading the app

Download the free Tonies app from the App Store or Google Play.

Registering

Connecting to the power supply

Connect your Toniebox to a power supply using the cable supplied or any other compatible third-party USB-C charging cable.

Go to the Tonies page

Set-up

Switching on the Toniebox

Switch on the Toniebox by pressing one of the ears.

Finding your Toniebox

Tap «Mine» in the Tonies app and find your Toniebox. Tap the + icon.

Adding a Toniebox

A list of the Tonieboxes available will be displayed. If several are available, you can identify your box by checking the IDs (on the bottom of your box). Tap «Select».

Pairing the Toniebox

Tap «Pair» on your smartphone and confirm the pairing request on your Toniebox by pressing one of the ears.

WIFI connection – part 1

Select your home network in the app and enter the WIFI password. Tap «Connect Toniebox to WIFI».

WIFI connection – part 2

The Toniebox now lights up white and is establishing a connection. Once the white light goes out, this means the connection has been established.

Selecting an age group

Select the appropriate age group for your child in the app.

Have fun!

Your Toniebox is now fully set up and ready to use. Simply place a Tonie figure on top of it to get the adventure started.

Changing the language version for the Mimigs stories

Placing your Pocket Tonie on top

Put your Pocket Tonie on top of the Toniebox once it has been set up.

Selecting the language

Open the Tonies app. A drop-down menu automatically appears. Select your preferred language.

Downloading a story

The story will be downloaded for the Pocket Tonie in the language selected.

Your Creative-Tonie has space for more audio fun. It's easy to download stories from previous Migros campaigns. These audio storybooks are already available on the Toniebox!

How to use your Creative-Tonie

Downloading a story

Select a story and download it as an MP3 file directly to your smartphone or PC.

Selecting a Creative Tonie

Open the Tonies App, tap «Mine» and select your Creative Tonie from the list.

Uploading an MP3 file

Tap «Add content» and select «Add from library». Find the MP3 file on your device and upload it to your Creative-Tonie.

Place the Creative Tonie on the box

Put the figure on your Toniebox – then the story will start automatically. Have fun!

Any other questions?

The language version can be selected in the Tonies app. Your selection is then automatically applied to the Toniebox.

Yes, an internet connection is required to initially download the content. Once downloaded, the content can also be played offline.

A Creative Tonie is a Tonie figure that you can store and play your own content on. For example, you can record your own stories or music on the Tonies app and transfer them to the Creative Tonie.

The Toniebox 2 in tropical teal comes with a Creative Tonie included. You will find more Creative Tonies in the toys section at larger Migros stores as well as on Migros Online.
